Christmas Luncheon with Leo's Unit

Today we had the Christmas luncheon with Leo's unit (well the one he is with until he gets home). Harli had a blast. Journey just wanted Buck to hold her. lol They also got to meet Santa and get a gift...

Don't think so, mama!
Take me back NOW!
What's this?
Here have some paper.

She actually opened it! (Harli opened her bday gifts for her.)
Harli is a huge fan!
Opening her present.

They both got flat rate boxes full of several toys (we probably came home with 10 or more toys between the two of them). They wrapped in flat rate boxes so we could send our soldier a care package! Too cool!

The Adventures of Krinkle-Week 1

I decided to get an Elf on the Shelf for the girls this week. Harli thinks it's the coolest thing ever! We didn't do much for the first day. I just read the book to her and sat him on the tv.

Krinkle's first day...taking everything in from the tv.
Day 2...Krinkle came with a rose and a message from Santa.
Harli found him!

A flower for me?!
So happy!

Day 3-Candyland with his new friends.
Look mom!

Day 4- Blowin bubbles
"He's not supposed to do that inside, mom!"

Day 5-Krinkle thought our family picture needed a little something extra.

"He's so silly!" (Gotta love the "just woke up" rat's nest in her hair lol)

Day 6-Making snow angels and he left Harli a message to check mom's email.

"What's he doin?!"

Harli got a video message from Santa!! (If you would like to make one for your kiddo, visit portablenorthpole.tv)
She was sooo excited!

Journey's 1st Birthday

We decided to have Journey's birthday party a month early so that Leo could be there to celebrate with us. She had so much fun and our friends and family are so awesome!

Thank you, Pinterest for the awesome birthday sign idea!

The table
Up close of the cupcakes (Leo iced them!)
Hanging with grandma while mama and daddy finish getting things ready.
Harli and Papa Leo being silly
Dressed and waiting for our guests to arrive

Being social

Everyone sitting down to enjoy some food...snowflake shaped sandwiches, fruit, veggies, and oreo balls...yum!
Cake time! There was zero hesitation!
That's pretty good.

Can I have more?
Time to open presents!

Checking out our new loot.

We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who could make it! We had so much fun and are glad you could join us in celebrating our little snowflake's first birthday! Love you all!!
