Easter Fun!

We spent Easter in Alva visiting lots of family and old friends. Harli got to do 2 egg hunts while we were there...one with the fire department and one with Grandma's church (which I don't have pics of, but they did it in the dark with flashlights. Harli loved that!).

4 months!

Wow! I can't believe its already been 4 months since Journey made her entrance into the world. She had a dr appt on Friday.

Journey came into the world weight 7 lbs 7 oz at 19 inches long.

She left the hospital weighing 7 lbs 3 oz.

At 2 months old Journey weighed 12 lbs 3 oz at 22.5 inches long.

At her 4 month appt on Friday, she weighed 15 lbs 3 oz at 23.5 inches long.

And here is some bonus Harli as she insists on having her pic taken everytime I take Journey's.

This is what happens around 6pm when someone refuses to take a nap...

I took Harli to the eye doctor this morning as I had noticed her left eye turning in when she'd try to focus on something. She did ok at the eye doctor. She has what is called Accomodative Esotropia which is basically that her eyes cross to help her focus. Anyway, he said that most kids this age are a little farsighted (like +1-+2) and Harli is +4 in the good eye and +5 in the one that turns in. He said the glasses should fix it. He also said that its genetic and we have to take Journey to him between 12 and 18 months. Here she is in her new glasses!

Saying Goodbye

Today they had a send off for the soldiers in Stillwater. We got to see Leo one last time for hugs, kisses, and goodbyes.
